Beta-Alanine

Beta-Alanine is a non-essential amino acid, which is quite difficult to obtain in low calorie foods (eg chicken, beef, fish, whey). The use of beta-alanine is significant because, as soon as it is ingested, it is converted into carnosine in the body, which involves strengthening muscle, increasing strength and endurance. Carnosine can be detected in both types of two different muscles, but its higher concentration is in the second type of fibers that receive the main exercise load.
